Throw out that $40 mascara.

Wave bye bye to waking up early just to apply 3 layers of clumpy mascara and say HEY HEY to your new addiction.

Eyelash extensions can last up to 4-6 weeks with refills recommended every 2 - 3 weeks to maintain a nice full look.

A full set will take anywhere from 2.5 to 3 hours depending on the amount of natural lashes the client has, is painless and will change your life.

Individual lash extensions will provide a natural, bright-eyed look without needing to waste the extra money buying expensive mascara or the extra time applying it each day.

There are three main types of lash extensions:

  • MINK eyelashes look more natural and are extremely lightweight. They are more matte than silk lashes. The Mink is aquired by carefully brushing and collecting the hair. The only downsides to mink lashes are that they may lose their curl as time passes (a heated lash curler can remedy this) and if you are allergic to animal hair, you may experience an allergic reaction to the mink hair.

  • SILK lashes are thicker at the bottom and thinner at the top. These are the mid-weight type of lash extensions, and are finer and more flexible than the synthetic type. Because they are softer and more porous, they tend to hold on slightly longer than the synthetic ones. They are made to look more glossy and full. With these types of lashes, you can sleep with them, swim, sunbathe and play sports. These lashes require very little maintenance and allow you to continue with your daily activities without worrying about them falling out. Lashes done by a professional can last anywhere from 3-6 weeks, depending on the life cycle of your natural lashes. If you are looking for the mascara look with glossy, long eyelashes - silk eyelashes are the way to go.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long can eyelash extensions last?

A full set of lashes can last 4 to 6 weeks however, this is not a "one & done" service. It does require some upkeep which means you will need to return every 2 to 4 weeks for a refill (if necessary.) Some clients' lashes can last longer between refills depending on lifestyle, skin type, etc.

How long will a full set application take?

It will take Ronni anywhere from 2 to 3 hours to apply a full set of lashes. This process can be tedious but the time will fly by and it is definitely worth it! Most clients end up taking a nap during their service and wake up feeling refreshed and feeling more beautiful with their new lashes.

How many extensions are applied for a full set?

This depends on the number of natural lashes you have. If you have 60 lashes on each eye, then 60 extensions will be added to each eye. I can only apply lashes to the natural lashes you have.

What is the cost of eyelash extensions?

The price of eyelash extensions will vary depending on your location and your chosen technician. On average, prices usually start around $200. Refill fees will vary by technician as well. Some will charge per lash and others will charge by time or a flat fee. Be leery of "too good to be true" prices, as is true of anything. If the price is too low, there is usually a good reason for it. When in doubt, always remember, you get what you pay for.

How do I choose an eyelash stylist?

I suggest you do your research. Always request your potential tech to show you a certificate. Eyelash techs must undergo some sort of formal training to be certified and they should be actively continuing their lash education, whether on their own or with an accredited program. Never be afraid to ask to see their work. Whether they have been doing extensions for 10 years and hundreds of photos or if they just started and only have a handful or photos, ask to see them. Also, don't be afraid to inquire if they stylist carries liability insurance. Not all eyelash extension techs will carry this, especially if they are just starting out but it is a nice added touch and provides a little extra security for both parties.

How can I make sure my lashes last long?

Ronni will go over aftercare details with you in detail before you leave. Things such as using oil based products on your lashes will certainly decrease the life of your set. Also, constantly rubbing or picking at your lashes will cause them to loosen and eventually fall out earlier than their time.

Will lash extensions cause my natural lashes to fall out?

In It is, however, possible to lose your natural lashes if you do not maintain your extensions properly. Proper application your tech and proper aftercare by you is key to maintaining the integrity of your natural lashes.

I do not have natural lashes, am I a candidate for lash extensions?

No. Ronni can only apply extensions to a natural lash. Lashes are never to be applied to skin, only natural healthy lashes.
